Hey Rex.....a question Ive always pondered, and probably already know the answer to. But I've sometimes wondered what actually happens when one died (someone saved by the blood of Jesus, that is). I know that to us, once dead, it will literally feel "instant" once we pass away and the moment we arrive in God's
kingdom.....but is it actually instant? Or do we lay dormant until the trumpet sounds and God calls us back?
Hope all is well.

I'm not Rex, but I know that there'should a verse that says, "absent from the body present with the Lord."
There is another verse that says, "It's appointed unto man once to die, and after that the judgement."
I personally believe that it's instant. You die, you go before the great white throne of judgment, then you ride down from heaven with Christ as part of the heavenly Armies.
