Rex: Legit question, sir. If it wasn't for God in my life these videos would not even exist. He is why I am still here. As the passage said: "He's the one that taught my fingers to fight" - and He's the one who gives us all the gifts we have. My quoting of the Psalm is the way I cite my primary reference. The reason I can share what I have learned in a kind manner is because He has given me true peace in my life. I want to share that peace with others in everything I do, including this :-)

Why do you start your SNIPER 101 vids with a Bible quote?

In addition, I think it may work as a bit of a filter, keeps the fudgebars and demon-rats from disrupting the channel!
I did not question it.. I loved the quote and just said to myself... welcome to Rex. I honestly felt I was going to get the honest truth as he sees it and got so much out of it. Welcome the Psalm to set your mind right to learn as our ability to learn is a gift from God, you might stop a moment to remember and give thanks. I believe it serves that reminder.
I really appreciate how Rex tempers the information he shares about firearms use with his religious foundation. Too much of what's on the web is filled with obnoxiousness and ignorance.
Rex, keep up the great work!
I agree with all of you! Too many times comments degenerate into personal attacks that add nothing to the discussion. I can't recall seeing that nonsense on Rex's channel.
Rex, glad I found your channel. Keep up the good work(s)!
Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy. - Psalm 82:3
Nuts! I was reading some of the comments on Rex's YouTube video on Thinking Strategically. and found some personal attacks on him. Oh well.. still not as bad as other places!
I saw that, It looks like a skinhead stumbled across that video and got his feelings hurt when Rex called A-dolf an idiot. So the guy told all three of his buddies and they tried to start a debate in the comments. I think the best route to deal with them is not dignifying their comments with a response.
I'm glad you did, Rex. It may not seem like much but I believe in giving acknowledgment to those who perpetuate positivity in the world. It's such a rare occurrence anymore.
I watched quite a few of the sniper 101 vids before I watched the parable of the sniper.... Holy crap, brother. I've been away from the church for a good 15 years now. You helped me see that there are other non conforming critters like me who just want to be good, obey God's law and love others without the bullshit associated with joining a club to brag about it. Taking it back to the parable of the sniper, shot well delivered sir. Thank you.
The podcast has inspired need to read the entire KJV bible. Would you recommend any supplementary reading in conjunction?
Also, if you can recall, what is the name of the theological book you had mentioned in the podcast that you had claimed was so heavy duty?
Were you thinking of "two babylons" by Hislop? It talks about how much of tradition is steeped in ancient idolatry.
I think that may be it. Thank you Plissken. Fascinating stuff once you realize how few originalities there have ever been. Good and bad, most social devices have been tried and rejected, tried and overcome as long as we've been around. Seems like a great topic for further research!
Thank you.
Rex has inspired me as well. I listen to the NLT version on my phone app. I got a new appreciation for Rex's music as well.
Very well said
