I have heard of issues with the lower end vortex scopes but are the razo rhd gen2 or amg highly reliable approaching tier 1 or do they have more common failures as well?

My gen 1 razor has been ok for me so far. My only concern is I want a bomb proof scope and I should have got a USO st-10 but the variable power seduced me... It is a good scope and mine has tracked well.
Thus far, Vortex has some room for improvement in terms of tracking precision and reliability, even in their Razor series. They are configured beautifully, but in my own honest experience thus far have had more than a 50% failure rate with the Razors' tracking. Some are dead-on-nuts accurate, and then about half seemed to be off or proved unreliable in terms of repeatability. Vortex has some of the best marketing I have seen and they have excellent feature sets, but quality control is still a bit of an issue in my experience. :-)
I currently have a Vortex Razor HD 5-20x50 Gen 1 on my Bushmaster BA .50 it does great but I wanted better so I just ordered a IOR Valdada 4-28x50 40mm Recon . I will try to post my experiences with the Recon when it comes in.
Always run a tall target test for tracking. You can compensate if you find error.
Had a Razr 1-6x24 HD Gen II for six months. Mild use on a gun with no recoil whatsoever. Out of nowhere, the whole eyepiece started rotating with the zoom ring: https://youtu.be/N8Ij60dR_Xk
Some machines are reliable and some are not reliable because of their processing speed they should be known. Contributes to this writemyessayonline you will actually know the meaning of reliable in detail.
