I have been looking for some time at new scopes, i currently have a 4/16x50 Nikon prostaff7 with a BCD reticle (so you know i'm poor)
i shoot F class at 600yds but am looking to stretch her legs out in prs ranging from 100 to 1000 i know my turrets fall short from accurate incremental adjustment so i have been using the bcd.
do we know of a scope that has a bcd reticle for 6.5creed that also has a turret i can trust?
i'm looking to continue with Fclass but know that in our prs matches that speed and acquisition of the target are quality's i am looking for.
any guidance is appreciated.
John
A quick Google search shows that such scopes exist, but seem to be very inexpensive.
I don't know what your budget is, but might I suggest something along the lines of the SWFA fixed 10 and learn your holdovers?
Perhaps you should contact Ballistic_XLR and get help with setting up your dope, for your rifle and ammo, and where you will be shooting?
i'll be shooting in north west Florida
Thank you for your suggestion
You're welcome, and don't forget to vet your scope's tracking. On the Bergara Shooter's FB page, someone posted about his HMR's rail not being parallel to the bore. FYI.
