I’m torn between the steiner p4xi 4-16x56 or the ior vadada 3.5-18. My question is which one is going to track more reliably. I like both of them as far as feature sets go, but I’ve never handled either of them.
Given that the reticles in both scopes are something I can work with, which one between the PA GL 4-16x50 RGrid2 and the Arken EP4 4-16x50 gets the nod? I understand the PA has a little more elevation available, and the Arken is a 34mm tube. I understand that the glass on both is surprisingly good for the price point of the scope, and the Arken has very good tracking. I would primarily be using this as a LR plinker out in the pasture out to 890 yards (farthest I can safely). Thanks for your time and input.
Rex, during your YouTube sniper classes you said the SWFA SS was a good scope to start with for the price. It has been a number of years since you made that recommendation, is there any more that you could recommend? Thanks
Has anyone used the S18i scope. I know it is a lower cost scope but I am also starting out in long range shooting. I am currently using a Savage Axis II heavy barrel in 308 in a Boyd At-One stock. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
