Rex, first off, thank you for all your work on the sniper101 series. I'm grateful for you to put all that info out there publicly, and for free. Secondly, l've been trying to find more content from you in regards to the SWFA SS variable power scopes, specifically the 3-15. Do they track as well as the 10x line? I've heard the 10x and 3-15 are made in the same factory, and seem to be built the same. The 5-20 versions, I've heard, are built in a different factory and seem to not be the same quality. What are your thoughts on all this? Is the 3-15 with mil-quad reticle going to be a good choice for long rang shooting/hunting? Can I rely on the turrets? Thanks for the input guys!

With RX-17 coming up, Rex may not get back to you for a bit. But checkout 8541 Tactical on YouTube. He did a segment a few years back on the SWFA SS 3-15 .

Thanks Geoff. I do follow John at 8541 as well. I've seen that he has a review, and have been meaning to watch it. I did see it was a few years back and that's why I've skimmed over it so far. Thanks for your reply. I'll look into all those sources.
Certainly!
While not as robust as the 10x, I have a 3-9HD that definitely is quite good for the money~$350 when they do the seasonal sales. Mine has tracked well and is definitely made in Japan not China or the Philippines, which both can be ok but trust this one more for the same price range.
The one thing to be careful of on the 3-9 is no parallax adjustment.
I will confess that I've already purchased a 3-15. It should be in my possession the 18th. I've just not found as many reviews on them and am still trying to decide if I made a good decision. I had made my mind up on a 10x, then was persueolast minute to get the 3-15 FFP. I'm just trying to decide if I chose wisely. Thanks for all your insights guys.
