Hey Rex. Have you had a chance to play with the new USO B series scopes? I picked up an ST-10 in 2015 based on your recommendations and it's been a great scope out to 1200 yards. I'd like to step up to a variable this year and was considering the new B-25 series USO. The S&B PMII would be my other choice as I know it's proven.

Now that the ST-10 is discontinued what is the replacement equivalent if any? US Optics or other? IOR Valdata?
So the B series is their most current model, but you skin still find the ST Series out there. So both are excellent choices, however the S&B does have the better glass. Either one would be considered a Teir 1 optic and both are exceptional scopes. I think you would be happy with either and so it really comes down to personal preference.
The one cool feature about a USO, is if you go directly to their website you can actually have them build a semi custom scope to pre-Selected features of your choosing.
Thanks for the response.
With the S&B PMII being 2x $$$. I'll stick with the US Optics.
I was mainly asking because Rex's earlier Reviews were High praise for the 10x fixed vs a comparable variable (in the same price range) and now it seems everyone is going to variables.
That being said, is the Series B variable ( at about the same cost ) as good as the 10x fixed ST-10?
There are still ST-10 available at full cost (apx) $1,550 , but not for long.
I'm a huge proponent for USO.... excellent robust optics.
So the B10 is just a newer model of the ST 10 probably with a few upgraded features but I haven't been to the website since last year. However I will be purchasing a USO this year because I am actually Working on a custom build and plan on purchasing an ST10 or B10 for the rifle below, currently I have a S&B PMII mounted on. You really for that price can't get a better scope.

Where? I can't find any places.
Botach.com lists it, but they have a horrible reputation for selling items no longer available or on interminable backorder. So, I can't trust them, where can I find one?
There is one on eBay now, but it is store exhibition model with an MOA reticle. I'd like the GAP mil reticle with EREK knobs. The ones on Amazon marketplace don't look legit (only ~$700) from new resellers.
Any leads are greatly appreciated.
cheers,
Brian
I ended up picking up a PMII 5-25x56. I do however have an ST-10 currently that I'd part with. MIL Gap reticle, EREK, illuminated.

Yah! I checked today and found the same results. Last Wednsday SWAF has the ST-10 still but no more. I saw the other listings on Amazon and sent the sellers an email to see if still available. Already got a response from one saying someone hacked his account listing 1500 different items to his account that weren't real so I don't expect muh from them and the eBay MOA retical has a STARTING Bit of $700 but no bidders.
MIKE I would be interested in the ST-10
