Hey guys and gals!
A quick review of the first-but hopefully not the last-Zero to Deadly in Bristol, IN. Whether you are pretty much a brand new rifleman or somewhat seasoned, this was a great place to be over the weekend! Without giving away too much, Rex, Jesse, and Gary spent time with each shooter. Combining elements of the seminar with hands on marksmanship training, then adding the "Rex Factor" in my view, is perfect for anyone who might not want to jump into the craft of LR shooting from the high board, but maybe dip their toes in the water to get an idea of some of the nuances that may need to be addressed. At least two of the shooters in the group were interested enough to consider making the seminar their next step. Some of the things that Rex wants squared away before the live fires came up on the equipment front. Others having to do with the choice of where and how to deploy your rifle were also addressed. Real life examples are better remembered than just lectures and pictures, no? One of my PA buds asked me if I thought Zero to Deadly would be good way to get his wife and kids trained up, there was no other answer than the obvious one. "Oh yeah!", said I. In summary, Zero to Deadly was as advertised and worth every penny!
Oh, and if you decide to go, make sure you study for the quiz! :-)
