My budget for a laser rangefinder was $500 - but I pushed it to $550 to include the Leica 2400R.
Which is the best option of these four? Or am I leaving something out:
Leica CRF 2400-R - $550
Vortex Optics Razor HD 4000 - $500
Leopold RX-2800 TBR/W - $450
Sig Sauer Kilo 2200 BDX $350
All will theoretically measure out to at least 2400 yards, but it has to work well and be accurate. At those kind of distances a it is crucial that it is accurate.
By the numbers (price and claimed performance) the Sig Kilo BDX looks like the winner, but I have read some mixed reviews.
Leica has to have the best glass, and they have been making laser rangefinders for 20 years - a lot longer than anyone else on this list - from everything I have read it is a solid unit.
I love Vortex optics and particularly love their warrantee, but have read better things about both the Leopold Rx-2800 and the Leica 2400-R.
What would you all suggest and why?
